2017 Phantom Fright Nights have ended.

While the scares may have ended for the 2017 fall season, the Phantom's fearsome friends will return next autumn. Phantom Fright Nights typically occur Friday, Saturday, and select Sunday nights in late September through October. Please check back next year for updated information regarding 2018 Phantom Fright Nights.

The Nightmares Keep Returning...

After the long summer days of happy family memories conclude each year, the spirit of the undead takes over a once peaceful destination. Creatures of the undead roam the midways, attempting to capture the souls of unsuspecting passerby. These forces transform summertime icons such as cafeterias, arcades, and even rides into dark, horror-filled experiences that will scare even the bravest of men. Phantom Fright Nights will test your courage, so venture in only if you dare. Of course, beware of the mastermind behind it all, the Phantom himself!

What to Expect...

Grim Reaper

The Kennywood you know and love has been transformed into a Halloween extravoganza. Many familiar aspects of the summer- including rides, eateries, and games- are open to enjoy. The park is transformed into a creepy atmosphere via decoration, soundtrack, and lighting. Additionally, many haunted houses and scare zones are present. Especially in these areas, but not limited to them, actors of the undead scare guests. They will scream at you, get close to you, and chase you. DO NOT TOUCH THEM, AS THEY WILL NOT TOUCH YOU. Actors can be found in most areas of the park. A large portion of Kennywood is open for the event, but since regular summer operation has ended, some areas and attractions are closed.

Due to the intense and graphic nature of Phantom Fright Nights, children under 13 years of age are recommended to NOT ATTEND. For additional information, including pricing information, please visit the official Phantom Fright Nights website.
